Two tabs on the side release the two filters housing. On each side, there are another two tabs on the top and bottom to release the filters. I usually just get generic compatible one:

The Dyson app notifies you when it's time for a change. That kind of maintenance transparency makes the whole experience feel hands-off and hassle-free. To reset the counter on the Dyson, i use the Dyson App.


If your machine is connected to the app, navigate to the home screen.
1. Select the 'Settings' icon in the top right.
2. Select 'Your machine's settings'.
3. Navigate to the 'Air' section and select 'Filter management'.
3. Under the image of the filter(s), choose 'Reset filter life' and follow the on-screen instructions.
