Liam's Tiny Guitar pt 8 | RATTLECAN GUITAR RESTORATIONS by James O’Rear

In this episode of Liam's Tiny Guitar we use a new product: SOLAREZ grain filler/sealer. It is a UV cured product requiring only a short exposure time to bright sunlight (or a particular wavelength from a UV bulb/LED) to cure in just a few minutes versus the traditional hours of other grain sealers/fillers. The label suggests 3 coats with sanding at 400 grit in between.

I also began applying the final finish using Birchwood- Casey TruOil. I believe I put on 7-8 coats before beginning the wet sanding process using TruOil as the lubricant and 400 grit sandpaper.

Life got in the way in an abundant fashion so we're working with the footage we have.
