Tool storage ideas: Make french-cleat tool holders and organize your tools

I show you how I made some tool holders and explain what I learnt making them. The tool holders (for screwdrivers, chisels, hand planes, measuring tools) are combined into sets of tools that go up on my french-cleat tool wall.

Tool storage is a never-ending story in any woodworking shop. It has to be flexible and practical since every woodworker wants to have their tools at hand and organized. I’ve had a french-cleat tool wall for some years now and I’m still very content with the system. As my tool collection has grown I’ve made some more tool holders.
