Ride straight to Gongaga and buy 3 Mega-Potions, clear the nearby chocobo stop and reach Gongaga Port before fast traveling back to Rugged Shoals - Gongaga Shore then clearing up Fiend Intel 1: A Croaking Chorus by not allowing yourself to get turned into a frog caught in their Toadfrog Tune ability that is unblockable and shows a green mist. Ice pressures the Pastel Amphidex. Head to Midriver Isle Tower then fast travel again to Rugged Shoals - Gongaga Shore and head through the cave on your way to Mushroom Storage Cache and a chocobo stop on the other side of it. Here is the place to farm up 45 Planet's Splendor and 63 Gongaga Pines. Next stop is Clearwater Lifespring on the way to Izo's Smithery to begin The Pursuit of Perfection. Up the path on side is Izo's Shed and Fishing Hole Cache. Head on to get the 8 Draconite Ore and ahead to Kujata Sanctuary Alpha then fast travel back to Izo to complete The Pursuit of Perfection and get Barret's Fafnir Rifle. Equip Barret and make him party leader to quickly master his new Point Blank ability. From Rugged Shoals - Gongaga Shore drive back across the water and explore up through Corel Airstrip then fast travel to Tropical Moogle and farm Ancient Bark until Witch's Armlets on the entire party then to Rent-a-Bird Stables, craft whatever else is necessary, buy enough to have 30 Exquisite Beast Hides, sell all armors and accessories that are not needed (Hi-Power Wristguards, down to 11 tourmaline, down to 22 Amethysts, down to 27 Mythril Ore, down to16 Ruby, down to 32 Emerald, all Timbers, all Mellow Oak, all Condor Cedar, down to 8 Sycamore Wood) then fast travel to The Dustbowl.

See Chadley and buy Petrify (40) and rest at Bedbug Lodge then from Corel Desert Waypoint, points of interest are Drainwater Drift Cache, Watermain Lifespring, Alexander Sanctuary Gamma, Corel Desert Waypoint, Alexander Sanctuary Beta, Corel Desert Waypoint, Sundappled Storehouses Cache, Oasis Lifespring, The Borderland, Excavation 2: Deserted Village, craft everything, Oasis Lifespring, chocobo stop, Wasteland tower, Rustladen Reservoir Cache, Corel Desert - Scenic Spot, Gold Saucer Parking Garage, Sandswept Modular Reactor cache, Fiend Intel 5: Fish out of Water, Stonearch Tower, Stonebowl Lifespring, and then finally around to a chocobo stop just southeast of the Stonebowl Lifespring.
