Unfortunately the SNES emulation isn't accurate - there are these annoying "scratches" in the audio (it's one of the reasons most of the video has Genesis/MD sound). It's recorded with ZNES as I couldn't get it to work on SNE9X.

Note that a comparison with videos captured through emulation can never be 100% accurate, no matter how good the emulators are. The prime purpose of these videos is nostalgic fun.

This was the second side-by-side video after The Lion King

When I started uploading these split-screen videos, I avoided using "Vs" in the title. My aim has always been for them to be a fun juxtaposition of two different versions, basically two simultaneous longplays. When we were kids we used to hook up two TVs and two consoles next to each other to "compare" certain games like MK and SFII. We had SNES and MD, we liked them both. This isn't supposed to be an outdated console war, 25 years after the fact - just some retro fun.
