Hayli Gubbi (Amharic: ሃይሌ-ጉብ, romanized: Haylē-Gubi) is a shield volcano located in the Afar Region of Ethiopia.[1] It is the southernmost volcano of the Erta Ale Range. Until November 2025, there was no known record of any eruptions of this volcano within the past 12,000 years since the beginning of the Holocene era,[2][3] although records of eruptions in the area are limited by the remoteness of the region
