How to Build A 5 Frame Beehive Nucleus

Описание к видео How to Build A 5 Frame Beehive Nucleus

It's springtime which means the honeybees are ready to swarm but I don't want them to leave so I'm building two 5-frame beehive nucs (nucleus) that will hold them until I can find them a new home, aka sell them or put them in a new hive. We get up close and personal in the hives so join the bee fun both in the workshop and in the hives!

Measurements: (if using 3/4" thick wood)
2 sides: 19 7/8" x 9 5/8"
Front and back: 7 1/2" x 8 5/8"
Top: 9" x 22 3/4"
Bottom: 9" x 22"
Hive Handles (2): 9" x 2 1/2"
Entrance should be a 3/8" hole at bottom of front. Can be a little bigger if desired.

Final inside demensions NEED to be:
7.5" wide (on the inside)
9.75"-10" tall (on inside)
