In this video I talk about the silver spot price divergence from the actual silver bullion price and I also talk about the 2008 silver spot price crash and how it is similar to the 2020 spot price crash we are seeing today! The silver spot price keeps going lower but the actual price of some silver bullion products have gone up over the last few weeks because of increasing premiums. I believe that this is because of silver bullion supply and demand. I also think that some of the these bullion dealers are taking advantage of new investors who do not understand silver premiums.

In 2008 the silver spot price went from over $20 per ounce to under $9.50 an ounce when we were hit with the great recession. It was only when the markets started to recover that we saw a jump in the spot price of silver and gold. I think that silver spot prices may go lower and that we have not seen the bottom yet. It is very interesting that even though silver spot has gone down that the price to obtain silver has remained constant or even gone up during this time. The divergence in the silver spot price and the price to obtain physical silver also happened in 2008 which is what we are seeing today. Stay safe and stack on my friends!
