In 2017, the Épinal Urban Area launched its long-term bike rental service, the first bike service in this rural area.
In June 2021, Vilvolt was launched, an electric short-term bike-sharing service (by the minute, like Vélib' in Paris) with 150 bikes and 30 stations.
May 2022: Extension of the service with 100 bikes and 7 additional stations
End of summer 2023: Further extension with a total of 460 bikes and 75 stations
