In this video, I head to the incredible Aviation Heritage Museum (RAAFA Aviation Heritage Museum) in Bull Creek — one of Perth's hidden gems for anyone passionate about planes and aviation history.

This museum, run by the Air Force Association of Western Australia, boasts over 30 aircraft on display, from iconic WWII bombers to modern jets, plus tons of memorabilia, engines, and interactive exhibits.

Highlights include: Getting up close (and inside!) the beautifully restored Avro Lancaster B.VII — a true beast of a heavy bomber!

Exploring the legendary Supermarine Spitfire Mk.22, a piece of Battle of Britain history right here in WA.

Checking out other stars like the Douglas Dakota, English Electric Canberra, Tornado GR4, F/A-18 Hornet, UH-1H Huey, and more.

The museum is packed with stories of courage, innovation, and Australia's rich flying heritage — from wartime missions to outback aviation heroes.

After soaking up all that heritage, I wrapped up the day with some classic plane spotting at Jandakot Airport (YPJT), Perth's bustling general aviation hub — catching light aircraft, trainers, and more taking off and landing.
