Dr. Claire Simeone is a 2018 TED Fellow and for good reason. I received a great education on beach strandings, ocean warming and rising, and ocean plastics. One of her joys is to educate the public, especially our children, about the changes that are occuring in our oceans and the effect they have on the marine life. "Marine Mammals are the sentinels of the sea, "she states, and by studying the changes we see in them we can further understand the changes to our world.
