History of Librarianship through Famous Librarians

This is my attempt to cover some of the history of librarianship thorugh famous librarians and some of my personal favourites. I find that often history of library books focus on antiquity and medieval manuscripts and the library of alexandria, or dive fully into the new information age, skipping this in-between period shift between Benjamin Franklin, Melvil Dewey, the accreditation of librarians, the War Effort, and ultimately the feminization of the profession. Please note that I have done extensive research, but I tried to super-simplify everything or else we'd be here all day.
