Watch three of the last C130 Hercules depart, flyover and land at RAF Brize Norton for a Farewell Tour of the UK ahead of the official retirement of the type from the Royal Air Force.

The Hercules conducted a flypast over the base before diverting to RAF Fairford due to a heat embargo, prompting the closure of the runway at Brize Norton.

The Lockheed C-130 Hercules has been in service with the Royal Air Force for 56 years, having arrived at Marshall's in Cambridge, in 1966. The newest type with the RAF, the C-130J, which is less than 30 years old, will still continue flying for the Air Mobility Force until at least the 30th June.
