Revisiting "City of Ghosts" movie locations in Phnom Penh - A report by Jan Mueller (English)

Matt Dillon's 2001 masterpiece City of Ghosts is a document of time and vibes of the adventurous life of expats in Cambodia 20 years ago.... great soundtrack by California's band Dengue Fever and haunting performances by James Caan, Gerard Depardieu, Natascha McElhone, Stellan Skarsgard, Kem Sereyvut and many more.


In 2009 Jan Mueller shot a 10min report for local TV station Apsara TV revisiting the movie set in Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh... accompanied by Cambodian actor Kem Sereyvuth himself, who plays Tuk Tuk driver Sok in the movie and Ian Woodford (deceased) aka Snow who's short gig as crazy Aussie expat is considered as cult these days.
