Camera Matching: Understanding ACES, Color Space, CST, and More

When the concept of camera matching during the color granding process comes up, you may hear terms such as CST (Color Space Transform) and ACES ( The Academy Color Encoding System) come up. But what exactly are CST & ACES and what do they have to do with Camera Matching? In today's video, we are diving deep into the concepts of Color Space, Camera Color Science, Color Management and what roll ACES and CST play within a workflow. While these workflows are, for the most part, only available on DaVinci Resolve, we also have a method that works with Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro.
