Gimmick the classic Nes platformer comes to modern machine,it's been been released on Switch, Ps4, Xbox and pc . This is the Pc version and it's £12.99 on steam, i never played this back in the day being a master system owner but i think i missed out on Gimmick with is momentun based game play and tight jumping controls, it takes it does take practise to get good at the game and and looking at speed runs it look fun when your good at it .

I am no expert at this game but it seems a good release and the input latancy seems pretty loss so controls feel good, this could have be even better with a few extra features added like scanlines and interpolation to get rid of the little bit of shimmering to movemnet but its nothing that will stop you playing the game, also a button config would be welcome addition, you do get 3 save states and a handy rewind feature great for learing sections of the game.

All that said and done if you fancy the look of the game i would recomend picking it up and giving it a go it's pretty fun.
