Japan - Soskovets Meets Murayama

(28 Nov 1994) Visiting Russian Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Soskovets and Japanese
Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama on Monday (28/11) pledged that
their countries would try to narrow the gap between them on
sensitive issues such as disputed Russian-held islands claimed by
Japan.
