🏰💍Looking for somewhere scenic and out of the hustle and bustle of the city to pop the question to your lover? Central Park's Belvedere Castle, sitting on top of Vista Rock near the middle of the park at 79th Street, is a contender. According to a new study by bridal brand A Diamond Is Forever, the miniature castle is the 19th most popular place to get engaged in the world, and the 10th most popular spot in the U.S.

"It's iconic, it says Central Park," Eileen said.

Belvedere Castle was built in 1872 and designed to be a place park goers could take in surrounding views, including the Great Lawn, Turtle Pond and the Manhattan skyline. Many New Yorkers told 1010 WINS that the accolade is fitting for such a romantic spot.

"I would come here with my father and he would tell us a story of princesses, and love and romance, which is probably why people get married here," Brett said.
