This rig can be modified for any fishing situation. It is easy to change the weight of the lead, the length of the leader, and the size of the hook to cater to where you are fishing and what size catfish you are targeting.

This rig is extremely versatile, and can be used for bank fishing, lake fishing, for rivers and in ponds.

All you need is a circle hook or octopus hook, a swivel, a strong leader material made from monofilament or fluorocarbon, a plastic bead, and a lead/sinker.
