Spearfishing Fiji - Friendly Competition Boat Reef

Another brilliant day out spearfishing in Fiji with the guys but today we are turning a funeral and a wedding into a competition... yep you read that right. Im on a boat freediving with some great fish including spanish mackerel, coral trout, barracuda, Large eye bream, Giant Trevally and even some common reef species.

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes, and no fish zones. Over the past 5 years now I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch.

Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.
