I can't stress enough how great this little amp sounds! Also, I was expecting more output during the RMS wattage testing and if you go by the numbers themselves, it doesn't appear very impressive. For around $25 US, I can't imagine a better deal for a small amp. It would be great to power some small bookshelf speakers or to be used in a portable stereo. See my buddy Jamesstargate1 here on YouTube as he's made a dozen or more boomboxes using these little Lepai amps.

The amp is based on Class T topology and a tripath design. It also promises 88% efficiency and makes the most use of 2A I've ever seen in an amp. My LP-2020A+ didn't come with a power supply, so make sure you have an extra 12-14v 2-5A adapter with a center positive 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug. Luckily, I had an older LCD monitor with a compatible power supply.
