Flood Escape 2 Community Maps: CRAZY+

decided to catch up on some crazy+ maps I haven't bothered to beat yet, so here you go.

Thoughts: This map has updated since I last played it, slightly buffing it's pace and overall difficulty. This map is just superb, excited to see V5 in the future.

Unwelcome: -5*0293

BGM: Music: Mitsukiyo - Unwelcome School (t+pazolite Remix)
Thoughts: I originally ran into this map before it blew up, and intended on playing it but I just forgot. Honestly, I was slightly put off from playing it from how popular it got, but the layout is great. The spinning effects in the last section are obviously the highlight of the map, and are rather impressive. The gameplay is pretty solid as well. Interested to see if it gets detailed.

BGM: Death Wish - A Hat in Time: Seal the Deal
Thoughts: This is probably the best fitting map to become the first Crazy+ in FE2 in my opinion (just needs an OST). The design and decoration is extremely well-polished and clean, and the gameplay holds up great. The avalanche at the end is cool as well. I do feel like the design/deco for the final stretch is a bit too similar to the prior section, and would benefit from spicing up a bit. Anyways, great map.

Abandoned Junkyard: 71c-bn1

Thoughts: Starting off, I don't think this map is a 6.2. When you compare it to maps of below and above difficulties (sub-zerosphere & avm v4), I find that it is definitely faster paced and has more complex, advanced gameplay elements. I'd say it's a high 6.3 or a low 6.4 if you are feeling generous. Anyways the map is definitely solid, the OST is actually really good lol. Design and deco are on point, and the GP holds up well. Pretty nice map.

Deserted Heights: p-3nta3

BGM: Flood Escape 2 CM OST - Deserted Heights
Thoughts: A great crazy+ map. The use of lighting and particle effects really adds to the adrenaline and intensity of the fast-paced sections. Design and decoration are on point. A shame that the text effects have glitched, but oh well. One thing I'd like to mention is that I think some of the design of some of the doors that close on you (e.g. at the middle zipline) seem a little overlooked, and are quite a jarring harsh black in comparison to the rest of the detail. Great work overall though.

Cosmic War: 6d/x6q3

Thoughts: Really fun mid-high crazy+. The gameplay of the 3 tower sections are actually very well-designed and flow really well. The deco is pretty solid, I'm a big fan of the theming of the map. I do think that the lighting is a bit dark, and indication is a little limited at times but overall really fun (also fix that bit of z-fighting pls).
