Both of these are amazing mice with differences that make each have their strengths and weaknesses. The MX3 wins for sound. The scroll wheel is the best thing I have ever used. It is silent and the ratchet inside is adjustable. The MX2 on the other hand I think feels better. I have large hands, so the larger size feels better in my hands.

The MX 2 and MX 3 are the two best wireless mice for productivity in 2020, and since so many people are working from home this might be the best time to get the best mouse. The MX2s and MX3 both come with the best thumb scroll wheel I have ever used on a computer mouse. The software Logitech Options isn't amazing, but it works fairly well, and the hardware makes up for mediocre software.
