Norfolk Southern and North Shore in Early September 2024

Описание к видео Norfolk Southern and North Shore in Early September 2024

On September 4th and 7th of 2024 I got some more action of the North Shore Railroad, as well as some action up and down the Norfolk Southern Buffalo Line. After another catch of NSHR-2 on the 4th, I caught the North Shore's excursion train on the ex DL&W Bloomsburg Branch which the North Shore operates as far as Berwick. After catching them in Danville and Rupert, we made our way over to Montgomery, Pennsylvania to begin our chase of NS 632. A loaded coal train off of the RJ Corman at Keating, Pennsylvania. This train was led by NS 8100. The Nickel Plate Road heritage unit as it was heading south with export coal bound for the port of Baltimore, Maryland. After we chased them down to Millersburg we planned on chasing H53 back to Northumberland with 6322 leading the way. After catching them at Dalmatia, it was pretty much a back and forth race along state route 147 to Sunbury where we just missed them and decided to call it a day.
