2023 Geely Boyue L in-depth Walkaround

Geely Boyue L is the latest compact SUV launched by the Chinese giant. Geely Boyue L is part of the compact SUV, with 4.6 meters in length, 1.9 in width, 1.7 in height, and 2.7 in wheelbase. The front design is somewhat reminiscent of Cadillacs, mainly due to the shape of the particularly massive grille and the design of the inverted L-shaped headlights sunk into the bumper. Here, however, the optical groups are connected in the center and made up of 182 LEDs. Even the same Geely logo, always an LED, is reminiscent of Cadillac's. Behind, the design of the headlights seems close to that of the Korean Kia Niro and Hyundai Bayon, but the side crease that runs through the doors up to the D pillar is unprecedented.

Regarding the mechanical options, Geely Boyue L is available in four engine configurations: a 2.0 turbo petrol with 218 HP and 325 N / m of torque, a 1.5 turbo petrol with 181 HP and 290 N / m of torque, a 1.5 Turbo hybrid and a 1.5 Turbo plug. -in hybrid. The first two are mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox, while the hybrids are to the 3-speed DHT typical of Geely.

The conventional engines are mated to a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission, while the rest use a new in-house developed three-speed transmission for DHT Pro electrified vehicles. Like the previous model, there are AWD versions.
