An advantage of working for the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE, was easy proximity to the world for vacation travel. During the summer of 1994, we left for an extended trip in India. We began by flying into Delhi and had 7 days of pre-arranged travel to Jaipur and the Taj Mahal. After, we went on our own exploring places such as the Bihar province and down to Madras. We also spent time in Goa before flying up to our departure city of Bombay. (It wasn't renamed to Mumbai until after our trip.)
