Riding the iconic Disney World transportation boat from Magic Kingdom over to Fort Wilderness to catch the Halloween events ( see new video on the Halloween at Fort Wilderness)

— and we got a look at the updated construction progress on the brand new Disney Lakeshore Lodge being built along Bay Lake!
This route is one of my favorite calm moments at Walt Disney World — it’s peaceful, scenic, and such a classic “old school Disney” feeling. Today the water transport ride gave us a close view of the shoreline and the new resort construction zone — and the progress is getting more noticeable every week.
This new Disney Lakeshore Lodge will sit between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness on the water — and this lakeside boat route lets you see it from a totally different angle than the monorail or road access.
We took the boat from Magic Kingdom → Fort Wilderness, filmed the full ride, and captured the latest progress so you can see how the new Disney Vacation Club resort build is coming along in real time.
