This is rental car number 73 and today I'm driving the 2017 Ford Flex Limited with All-wheel drive. This is considered an SUV, but let's be honest, this is really more of a modern station wagon. And I say that out of love, because this really is a fun car.

The Limited starts at about $38,230 depending on what kind of bells and whistles you add to it. I estimate this model to be about $43 to $44,000. The Limited is the highest trim level the lower levels being the SE (starting around $30,000) and the SEL (starting around $32,730).

Under the hood you get a 3.5 Liter V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission (paddle shifters included). The model I drove had all-wheel drive, but that is a option you'll have to pay extra for. The Limited comes standard with front wheel drive.

Performance wise, this kicks out 287 horsepower at 6,500 rpms. All that power gives you decent gas mileage at 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. Not bad for a larger SUV that seats 7. And the fuel tank capacity is 18.6 gallons.

I am a BIG fan of this vehicle. I like how the interior is styled, it feels fresh and up-to-date. The digital screens in the gauge cluster are large and useful, the center display is easy to use, and I like the futuristic feeling climate controls. All in all the Flex is really fun. And you can't beat the four separate sun roofs. All this makes the interior of this car really beautiful.

In the end, I would gladly rent this vehicle again. I'll happily give it five starts (out of five) and I hope that this one crosses my path again.

So that's it. Thank you so much for reading this. If you have any thoughts to add, please reach out via email, social media, or comments on youtube. I really would love to hear from you. Thank again. And I hope you'll join me next time when I rent my 74th rental car. See you then.
