The Antonov An-225 Mriya is a strategic airlift cargo aircraft designed and built by the Antonov Design Bureau in Ukraine. It is the largest and heaviest aircraft ever built, with a maximum takeoff weight of over 640 tonnes (1.41 million pounds) and a wingspan of 88.4 meters (290 feet).

The An-225 was originally developed in the 1980s to transport the Soviet Union's Buran space shuttle and other oversized cargo. It features six turbofan engines, a high-wing configuration, and a twin tail design.
