1.6 THP Peugeot 207 Le Mans - * DRaMaTiC * pick up from auction 😯

A video of picking up the Peugeot 207 1.6 THP Le Mans Series, bought unseen at an online auction. It was quite a gamble, but so far, saved this Le Mans!

It was quite a drama to get the car running, with an long list of fault codes: P0087, P0772, P1336, P1338, P1340...

This is an original Dutch car. The previous owner had this car for at least 9 years according to the Dutch car registration RDW (like DMV in France, DVSA in Great Britain, Strassenverkehrsamt in Germany). Making us the 2nd or 3rd owner since it's first registration back in 2009.

The Le Mans Series came on the market for about 1 year, after the Peugeot 908 victory at Le Mans in 2008. A limited edition, with a total of 2000 produced, this is number 1163.

The Le Mans Series was a 'mixed' model between the 207 RC and 207 Feline. For the Dutch market, having the 207 Feline engine (1.6 THP 150hp), with lot's of the sportive accents of the 207 RC. The Le Mans Series was also available as a HDi and as RC model (but not in the Netherlands).

This 207 has the black background in the headlights, was that an option or standard?

Replace coils
Replace sparkplugs
Refresh engine oil & oil filter
Refresh gearbox oil
Replace high pressure fuel pomp
Replace engine timing chain
Clean inlet valves
Replace air filter
Replace interior filter
Replace wishbones, stabilizers & tie rods
Replace rear shockabsorbers
Replace front brakediscs and brake pads
Front wheel alignment
Replace windshield wipers

Also a lot of small things to do:
Replace car key casing
Minor leather repair
Repair the wheels
Polish the headlights
Clean the interior and exterior
Clean it all again
And again
and much more
