THAT'S DONE! IT'S CANCELLED! I've been working on this video for what feels like forever and I both enjoyed putting it together and dreaded it constantly so...make of that what you will. Hopefully this AU isn't too incomprehensible and you guys enjoy it.

Storytime:
When Veronica goes to pick up dinner at Pop's, the first person who sees her is Jughead. He's obviously interested, but he watches Veronica meeting Archie and knows (because Archie is Archie) that they're going to hook up. Sure enough, Veronica and Archie become a couple and spend all their time together, making Jughead their third wheel. When Archie has to skip town and breaks up with Veronica, she goes to Jughead for comfort and they start up a friendship that Jughead dreams could be so much more. Veronica is hesitant at first, but they hook up in the end and, ahem, enjoy each others'...fine company...for a time. When Jughead starts hanging out with his father and the southside serpents more, Veronica starts to worry about him. He tells her that he's only joining the serpents to chase a story and Veronica reluctantly lets it drop, though she's still worried about him. Eventually, she realizes that joining the serpents may mean more to Jughead than just a story and confronts him about it. She's heartbroken when he leaves her after they fight and resigns herself to letting him go, but when Jughead finishes writing, he comes back to her.

Do I know what happens next? No, I don't! Probably more horizontal dancing but idk.
