This 301-meter-tall skyscraper looks like a giant "pants" or a futuristic gate. Go to the 54th-floor observation deck for stunning views of Jinji Lake. At night, colorful lights dance on its surface. Next door, Suzhou Center Mall has over 500 shops and a rooftop garden.
Tip: Take Metro Line 1 or 3 to Dongfangzhimen Station.

These UNESCO-listed gardens are like live Chinese paintings.

​​Humble Administrator’s Garden (拙政园)​​: Biggest garden with lotus ponds and zigzag bridges. Best in summer.
​​Lingering Garden (留园)​​: Famous for its rock sculptures and autumn maple trees.
​​Lion Grove Garden (狮子林)​​: Fun maze-like rockeries kids love.
Tip: Visit early morning to avoid crowds. Tickets cost 40-90 RMB.

​​3. Suzhou Bay Museum (苏州湾博物馆)​​

New museum shaped like a floating cloud by Lake Tai. See 1,000+ artifacts: ancient silk clothes, jade carvings, and digital displays showing Suzhou’s history. The rooftop café has lake views.
Tip: Take taxi from city center (30 mins, 50 RMB). Free entry, closed Mondays.

A 800-year-old street with canals. Stone bridges, white walls, and tea houses mix with trendy shops. Try:

Tip: Rent hanfu (traditional clothes) for photos.
