The Spike is the lower section of Absalom station. Its mechanical, its cramped and nearly all of the most important technology that keep Absalom running can be found there. Several neighborhoods and places of interest can be found in The Spike, or as locals call it The Downside. Private citizens form militia to protect their homes and shops from monsters that also live in this area.
