So this was a bit of a surprise to me... I had previously assumed that this fan was the 48V model (based on the label) but it was brought to my attention that the label looked a bit odd, so I tried over-volting the fan and this is what happened. It's most likely that this is Nidec's G1438X54BMZP, which is the full-fat 54V version of the fan I thought I purchased. Happy days. :)
