Huawei has just unveiled the Watch GT4 and It comes in two versions: there’s the sporty 46mm model and a sleeker 41mm variant. There are eight colour options and Huawei is introducing new watch faces with greater customisability.

It comes with Huawei’s latest TruSeen 5.5+ optical heart rate sensor and an upgraded dual-band, five-system GNSS radio - Huawei claims these two developments improve accuracy all around; we’ve tested it and it’s the company’s most accurate wearable so far.

There’s also smart menstrual cycle tracking, improved sleep tracking with breathing “awareness” and a new Stay Fit app for tracking calories.

As for battery life, Huawei is claiming that the GT4 should offer up to two weeks of use from a single charge, putting it ahead of many of its competitors.

The Huawei Watch GT4 goes on sale from October 4th with prices starting from £230.
