Insurance company reimbursements are literally so low that doctors HAVE to rip through patients as fast as possible to stay afloat. That is simple untenable. No one wins.

If only the structure bypassed insurance and doctors were paid fairly and could order the labs you want without justifying it to the insurance company. What if labs could be a very reasonable price? What if you paid an affordable price to have a doctor available at your fingertip? Regular hours for visits would still be a real thing, but if you had difficulty, you could call or text the doctor anytime you needed. What if you doctor limited the number of patients they saw so that you had time to discuss your entire problem?

We are a prescription service. One fee per month is an average of one visit a month if needed. We are not insurance and NO insurance is involved and you simply pay a monthly fee that can be cancelled at anytime. During the subscription, you can get comprehensive healthcare and someone available that can see you in only a few days at most - usually the same day AND unless you have labs or imaging, you walked out the door all paid up. Labs when ordered were excessively inexpensive and your doctor found good prices.

Don't give up your catastrophic care, just know that it is exactly that. Short of a catastrophe, you will not meet that deductible, so why not get quality health care instead. Be sure to try your best to find a fair price for that catastrophic care you hopefully won't have to use.
