One of nine 4004s in Apple Valley, located at the intersection of 150th St. W. and Galaxie Ave, sounding Alert. This video was taken about 330 ft. from the base of the siren's pole.

This was an interesting day, I was originally planning to go to an EOWS 1212 with a few friends up by Waite Park, but I had forgotten that I had a service appointment for my vehicle at Apple Ford on the same day. Luckily, Apple Ford is pretty close to a sort of interesting 4004 in Apple Valley, so I decided that I would run over to the CVS after dropping off my car and get a quick video of it. I last heard this siren about 7 years ago, when I took my old Apple Valley ambience video, and from that I remembered that it was a 465Hz digital ESC-864. Not the most interesting siren in Apple Valley, but it's still something I have wanted to hear for a while, and I'm happy I got this opportunity to do it.

This siren was quite loud, feeling about on par with the 435Hz 4004 that I recorded last year, which can also be heard in the background of this video. Rotational Whelens always surprise me with just how directional they are. When they're facing away from you, you can pretty clearly hear the other nearby sirens, but when they're facing directly towards you they are tremendously loud. Unfortunately this test was ruined a bit by high winds, but it wasn't that big of a deal for me. I have a new audio recorder currently being shipped to me, and I'm hoping that will help cut down on wind noise in future videos, but we'll have to see.

A few other sirens can be heard during this video, including a 2001-130 in Lakeville right at the beginning (151st and Glacier Ave, 1.1 Mi), A 435Hz 4004 (157th and Pilot Knob, 1.6 Mi), and a few Analog 4004s (Duchess Park 1.2 Mi, Flagstaff & 140th 1.2 Mi, Wildwood Park 1.8 Mi).
