Luther Tucker was a Chicago blues guitar stylist who recorded and toured with Little Walter, James Cotton, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and more. His expressive rapid fire picking is instantly recognizable and his crisp and to-the-point solos sound like compositions, strung together from his original melodic ideas, or "Luther-isms".
