Head to Head comparison cutting of a Brazed Carbide tool and a High Speed Steel (HSS) tool in 3 different materials. High resolution pics of the finish in 7075 Aluminum, Annealed 4140 and 316 Stainless to see what cut better. I use inserts 95% of the time, but when you don't have an insert for the job and want to know what is the better option between Brazed Carbide and HSS. Because buying a specialty insert and tool holder for every special job is not always cost effective.

Spoiler alert, I went into this thinking Brazed Carbide tooling is better than HSS and in my mind this video proves that.
