8-29-21 - Lock Haven's own hero, Stephen Toboz - U.S. Navy Seal, LHHS Wrestling / Football Star, gives a wonderful 8 minute speech in thanks for a bridge dedication led by Pa State Rep Stephanie Borowicz. (Thank you Stephanie!) There were countless veterens in attendance. There were eight Navy Seals (two Master Chiefs), John, a Seal Gunsmith, Jimmy, a Seal fiber optics expert, and an Admiral - Sara (Clutch) Joyner! All these folks traveled tremendous distances to honor Steve. The night before the ceremony, and the evening after, Steve and many these other heros attended parties at the local VFW and at the Krouse river lot. Leslie and I were honored to host such an amazing group. Steve, Linda and Bianca spent 3 nights camping at the lot along with Master Chief "Web" (awesome dude as well!). Special thanks to Tony Ruggiers, Dave Harger, Jimmy Russo, Zane Renzo and all the great folks that brought and made food, drinks, ice, beer etc - all your efforts, thank you! Also, thank you for a surprise weekend visit from another very special local hero, U.S. Navy Seal Jamie Webner. Jamie went to High School and was a Mat-Town Kid wrestling teammate with Steve and I. Lock Haven produced 3 Seals, (all heros and amazing men) two from the class of 1987 - the late U.S. Navy Seal Davey Collins, and Steve. And the class of 1986, Jamie Webner. Unbelievable and amazing! Congrats once again Brother. What an Epic event it was!!
