STRAWBERRY CAKE

Sugar syrup (1 part sugar 2 parts water)
Whipping cream (non dairy)
Strawberry crush/strawberry syrup
Crushed/chopped strawberries
Fresh strawberries (for garnishing)
Edible pearls (optional)
Make a light and airy vanilla sponge, let it cool.
Cut the vanilla sponge to make 3 to 4 layers of the cake.
For assembling the Cake:-
Place a layer of vanilla sponge on a turntable, sprinkle a decent amount of sugar syrup, then layer up the cake with whipping cream, top it up with ready strawberry syrup/crush or home made strawberry compote.
Repeat the process for two or three layers as per your requirement.
Finish off the cake by garnishing it with fresh strawberries, edible pearls, and whipping cream.
