I am an amateur photographer living in Oslo, Norway. This video presents a collection of night sky images taken in Oslo that include the Northern Light show early Saturday morning on May 11th as well as some shots of the moon

(1) View of the lights of Oslo under a sky still light in the north at 1am

(2) The lights of Oslo and a local beach, Hvervenbukta, with Pavilion and Cafe at 1.30am

(3) The Aurora shining with pinks and purples in the East over the beach at Hvervenbukta

(4) Looking straight up at a node of Aurora activity at 2am

(5) Aurora shines most actively to the south as seen from the other side of the Pavilion at 2am

(6) As the sky begins to lighten the Aurora is even more difficult to see

(7) Another look straight up at an abstract Aurora

(8) Looking at the city lights on the morning of the Aurora, one can almost see the clouds looking pink but the lightness of the sky in the north make it impossible to visualise the activity when looking in that direction

(9) Earlier in the evening, just after midnight, the waxing crescent moon was setting and seen in a break in the clouds

(10) Back in December of 2023, a full moon rises over the cafe at Hvervenbukta

(11) A full moon rises over a house at the top of a hill in the neighborhood back in April

(12) A waning crescent moon behind a bit of cloud hanging over a neighbour's chimney back in January in a somewhat surreal image
