One, if not THE classic among Handpans. To be found in each of our workshops, the Kurd 9 offers extensive possibilities to compose and improvise. Six complete triads are playable, which can be complemented rhythmically wonderful by the middle height of the "D"-Ding.

We are very excited that other makers, including Manik, are now using Ayasa's ember steel shells as well. We find the nice balance between tone stability, clarity and sustain that is supported by this great material. Jordi from Manik works it in a way that is even brighter and more resonant than the controlled sound of Ayasa's handcrafters work on ember. The color is typically brown-reddish and looks super yummy.
