Elizabeth Hosler Voudouris is Executive Vice President of BVU. Elizabeth has had several programmatic roles at BVU from the time of BVU’s inception in 1993, including serving as Interim President & CEO.

BVU is a national model organization that has trained and matched over 2,100 business executives and professionals on the boards of more than 450 nonprofits. In addition, BVU provides consulting and information services to over 150 businesses annually. BVU also provides education and training, volunteer referral and organizational consulting services to over 850 nonprofit organizations annually. BVU was featured in a front-page article in The Wall Street Journal.

The 7 Key Focus Areas Include:
1. Determine the Mission & Vision and the Strategic Plan to achieve it
2. Establish & Strengthen Community Relations and act as an Ambassador
3. Elect & Support the Chief Executive
4. Develop Funding Resources
5. Provide Financial Oversight
6. Ensure Legal & Ethical Integrity
7. Develop the Board

Elizabeth provides consulting, training, management assistance, and executive coaching services to strengthen the governance and management of nonprofit organizations. Elizabeth provides consulting services to businesses to establish and enhance strong community involvement and programs. Elizabeth is also responsible for fund development and community outreach activities. In addition, Elizabeth has provided national training and consulting services to assist other U.S. cities in replicating the BVU model. Elizabeth co-authored a chapter on “Corporate Volunteerism: Strategic Community Involvement” in Corporate Philanthropy at a Crossroads (Indiana University Press, 1996).
