Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla mentioned the oath of parliament membership today and gave advice. Om Birla said that the time of oath should be according to the third schedule. Adding any extra words to it is a violation. A parliamentary committee will be formed to prevent such incidents from happening again. The Speaker, while announcing the names of the members for the committee, also hoped that such an incident would not be repeated in the future.
लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिरला ने संसद सदस्यता की शपथ का जिक्र आज किया और नसीहत दे दी. ओम बिरला ने कहा कि शपथ के समय तीसरी अनुसूची के अनुरूप हो. इसमें कोई अतिरिक्त शब्द जोड़ना इसका उल्लंघन है. इस तरह की घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति न हो, इसके लिए संसदीय समिति का गठन किया जाएगा. स्पीकर ने समिति के लिए सदस्यों के नाम का ऐलान करते हुए ये भी उम्मीद जताई कि भविष्य में इस तरह की घटना का दोहराव नहीं होगा.
