Cadillac ATS Blend Door and Mode Door Replacement

This video shows how to access the 3 HVAC actuators on the ATS. The Left actuator controls the drivers side heat/air conditioning. The Right actuator controls the passenger heat/air conditioning. The Mode actuator controls the defrost, face, and floor selection of air.

If you do not have hot or cold air on the drivers side replace the left actuator. If you do not have hot or cold air on the passenger side replace the right actuator. If your vents are stuck in a specific setting suck as defrost then replace the mode actuator.

This video is by no means a step by step guide but what i learned from trying to replace an actuator myself. The driver side was stuck in heat mode so i replaced the left actuator and it fixed my problem. I hope it gives the DIYer the info to save themselves $1K or more from going to the dealer. Each actuator is about $20-$40 for an OEM Acdelco replacment.
