There are fantastic, underrated wines all over Italy, and we put Salice Salentino squarely in that camp. If you love Italian food, this is a wine for you!

Salice Salentino is made from the Negroamaro grape and comes from a beautiful area of Southern Italy called Puglia. Where, incidentally, Carmela’s relatives came from. And, she’ll share some stories of her trips to Puglia as a teenager.

A rich red wine, sometimes described as rustic, Salice Salentino is a crowd pleaser for those who love red wine, and even those who are not big fans.
