🔍 JOURNEY SUMMARY:
I'm starting a new series called 2 in 1, where I'll be combining 2 journeys - up and down in one vlog. This is the first journey in this series and the last from the Maharastra series.

I had asked my subscribers in a poll to choose bus for this journey to Shirdi and SRS Travels had got the most votes and hence I traveled in this bus. I got on the bus at Wilson garden in Bangalore which is the first pick-up point of this bus. I took an interview with the crew, Mansoor bhai who was on first duty from Bangalore till Diesel refuel break at Belgaum. Mansoor Bhai explained about the route and bus details and later we reached Anand Rao Circle SRS Travels office where I also saw SRS Travels Scania bus to Mumbai.

We departed Bengaluru and chased some NWKRTC buses and stopped for a tea break around 5:30PM. After that, we continued into a beautiful sunset with a windmill view at Chitradurga. At Bankapur we stopped for dinner and then stopped at Belgaum for refueling. From there, Suresh bhai (second driver) came on duty. Later in the night there was lot of rain and Suresh bhai wasn't comfortable vlogging in the cabin so he asked me to comback in the cabin in morning, that's the reason why I couldn't capture the journey at night.

Next morning after crossing Ahmednagar we stopped for breakfast. The road condition from there was very bad and some parts were even flooded. Finally we reached Shirdi, the dropping point was Brindan Hotel. I got down there and the bus went to Nashik. From there it will again depart at 1 PM and reach Shirdi by 4PM, I had booked the same bus from Shirdi to Bangalore. At Shirdi, I have shown Shirdi bus stand and a glimpse of Sai baba mandir (temple). After visiting the temple I reached back to Brindan Hotel which was also the pick-up point for SRS travels buses.

There are two buses to Shirdi in SRS Travels. One was my bus, Bangalore to Nashik and the other bus was Bangalore to Aurangabad. On the day of my journey, Aurangabad bus got canceled so Nashik bus got merged with Aurangabad bus and Shirdi departure time got moved to 5:30PM from 3:30PM. Due to a delay in luggage boarding, we left Shirdi at 6PM. We stopped for Dinner near Ahmednagar and then continued our journey. Since we left late, by the time we crossed Pune and entered Mumbai-Bangalore route - National Highway 4, it was too late and most of the buses towards Bangalore had crossed so we couldn't spot or chase many buses on the way.

Early morning we reached Belgaum and stopped for refueling again. After refueling we came back to Bangalore via Hubli.
