IMPORTANT NOTE: There is another/better way not shown in the video to remove the flywheel (thanks to contributors below): Remove the plastic cup on the flywheel side and use a box spanner to remove the flywheel from the shaft. Note, this will not allow you to do balancing in quite the same way, but it will give you a safer way to remove the flywheel.

Total fail from Wahoo support - so I have had a crack at balancing the flywheel myself. It worked, but is a fairly big / scary job.
