This demo shows how the Pebble smart-watch can send accelerometer data to an application running on an Android table; a Nexus 7 in this case.

The Android app initially begins by communicating to the Pebble that it should load and run the PebblePointer app on the watch.
The PebblePointer, on the watch, then waits for the signal to start: a rapid rotation of the wrist by the user. This signal cause the PebblePointer app to initiate receiving accelerometer data and packaging it, as PebblePointer JSON dictionary, and sending it via Bluetooth (EDR) to the Android table.

The Android table receives the PebblePointer dictionary containing a single vector, and extracts that vectors x,y,z components. These vector components are then displayed as numeric values and also plotted to show the accelerometer history over about 3 second interval.

Shaking the wrist again turns off the accelerometer stream. By exiting the Android app will send a "stop" signal to the Pebble watch, causing it to shutdown the PebblePointer app and popping the watch-face app as the focused (displayed) app.
